Indian Head Massage Practitioner Training

This program will certify and qualify you to perform a professional Indian Head Massage. It is run over 6 consecutive weeks (dates below).

Based on ancient East Indian Ayurvedic principles, Indian Head Massage activates energy points that affect the wellness of the whole body, with gentle massage of the upper chest, shoulders, neck, head, face, and ears using a range of different techniques.

The treatment helps to relieve stress, reduce tension, and increase flexibility in stressed and overworked muscles resulting in the body, mind and spirit feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, energized and balanced.

Other benefits include: relief from eyestrain, headaches, congestion / sinusitis and insomnia; Reduction in hair loss, premature balding and greying; Improved blood circulation to, and lymphatic drainage from, the head and neck.

Who should take this course?
This course is suitable for those looking to learn a new technique to add to current offerings or to help themselves, family, friends, or clients.

What you will learn:Concept and history of Indian Head Massage. Massage techniques and anatomy and physiology relevant to Indian Head Massage. How to carry out Indian Head Massage both seated and on a massage table. The skills and knowledge to perform a 35 to 50 minute professional treatment.

The program runs over 6 consecutive weeks to learn the techniques and practice them: Monday: April 8, 15, 22 and 29. May 6 and 13. The timing for classes will be: 5.45pm - 9pm. There will also be Case Studies which will need to be completed by Sunday 26th May followed by a final assessment on either Sun 2 or Monday 3 June.

Please know before committing that it is essential that you can make ALL the classes and one of the final assessment dates as as this is required for Certification

This program is accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM).

This program is run by the International College of Energy Healing under Principal Dawn Kirkham MA, House Healer, Reiki Master / Teacher, Reiki Drum Master, Master Crystal Healer, Crystal Therapy Dip, Sound Healing Dip, Certificate in Indian Head Massage.

Your course tutor:Zoë Baldwin. Zoë is certified in Indian Head Massage, Crystal Therapy, Sound Healing and Reiki Drumming and is a Reiki Master / Teacher and House Healer. She has many years of holistic practice as a registered therapist.Investment: $495 per person. Places are limited to 6. $100 deposit will secure your place.
